“The CPE Supervisor Educator-Coach is more than a teacher—they are a servant-leader, mentor, and life coach, called to develop others through biblically grounded education, practical skill building, and Christ-centered leadership.”
A CPE Supervisor Educator-Coach is a highly trained and credentialed leader called to develop the next generation of chaplains, pastoral caregivers, Christian leaders, and ministry teams.
These individuals are equipped to supervise and mentor chaplains, executive pastors, spiritual care providers, and ministry leaders in both church-based and institutional settings, ensuring that quality spiritual care is delivered with excellence and compassion.
Graduates of our program are credentialed to teach Clinical Pastoral Education in alignment with the 29 Qualifications of the Board Certified Chaplain Institute and the 5 Distinctives of the National Association of Evangelicals Evangelical Board Certification.
In addition, they are recognized as Certified Christian Life Coaches, holding the prestigious Certified Master Christian Life Coach credential through a reciprocity relationship with the International Christian Coaching Institute.
CPE Supervisor Educator-Coaches develop expertise in group dynamics, team building, self-awareness, action-reflection, supervision, life coaching for a better future, and guiding individuals toward shared purpose.
They learn to integrate tools such as the DISC for Christians Personality Assessment, Core Values, Spiritual Gifts, StrengthsFinder 2.0, and diverse leadership styles into their supervision, helping those they mentor grow in both character and effectiveness.
Central to our approach is the leadership model described by Dr. Ken Blanchard in Lead Like Jesus, where true leadership is defined by influence, service, and Christlike humility. Our graduates will develop the heart of a coach who mentors others toward progress.
We believe that Christian Life, Leadership, and Supervision are ultimately about godly influence—empowering others while embodying the servant leadership modeled by Jesus.
As Jesus taught:
“It shall not be with you. But whoever wants to become great among you must be your
servant, and whoever would be first must be your slave—even as the Son of
Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom
for many.” — Matthew 20:26–28 (ESV)
And:
“And what you have heard from me in the presence of
many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach
others also.” — 2 Timothy 2:2 (NIV)
In the context of this course, we believe this applies to both men and women.
