Christian Chaplains & Coaching (CCC) was born out of a desire to return Clinical Pastoral Education, Chaplaincy, and Pastoral Care to their original biblical, evangelical, and pastoral roots. In a time when theological education was becoming increasingly disconnected from the Gospel and the Church, CCC emerged as a movement committed to faithful, Spirit-filled, Christ-centered ministry preparation. Founded by a group of seasoned pastors, board-certified chaplains, and Christian educators, CCC became a 501(c)(3) Association of Churches focused on training and commissioning believers for ministry in diverse settings. What began as a grassroots ministry initiative has grown into an internationally respected organization. Since its founding, CCC has trained, ordained, and commissioned hundreds of men and women who now serve around the world.

CCC chaplains serve in hospitals, hospice care, prisons, jails, the military, schools, fire and rescue services, and a wide variety of community-based ministries. CCC-trained coaches and supervisors are equipping others for transformation through life coaching, spiritual direction, and pastoral supervision. 

Our growth has been marked by a steadfast commitment to biblical authority, theological reflection, pastoral presence, and the empowering work of the Holy Spirit. CCC is not merely an educational provider; it is a Spirit-led ministry dedicated to discipling leaders and restoring the soul of chaplaincy and Christian care to its Biblical roots. 

As a recognized endorser in partnership with the National Association of Evangelicals (NAE), the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Federal Bureau of Prisons, and a growing network of churches and institutions, CCC continues to equip gospel-centered leaders for Kingdom impact. 

We are pleased to have received approval from Board of Chaplaincy Certifications Inc. (BCCI) and Association of Professional Chaplains

(APC) for acceptance of our Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) Program toward board certification. We are pleased that our CPE program is recognized and accepted by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.

Our CPE is accepted for potential board certification by every major certifying agency in the country including The Evangelical Board of Certified Chaplains (EBCC), Board of Chaplaincy Certifications (BCCI), Association of Certified Christian Chaplains (ACCC), National Association of Veterans Administration Chaplains (NAVAC), Spiritual Care Association (SCA), and others.

Description of The Chaplains Academy 

The Chaplains Academy is the higher education division of Christian Chaplains & Coaching. It was established to provide quality Christ-centered higher education for chaplains and ministry leaders who are serious about the practice of spiritual and pastoral care. The Academy provides Christ-centered graduate and doctoral education designed to prepare Christian chaplains and ministry leaders for effective spiritual care, pastoral care, supervision, and professional ministry service.

The Academy currently offers two principal academic programs:

Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE), an academic and professional education program combining theological education, supervised clinical practice, spiritual formation, and professional development. CPE is offered for graduate academic credit to students who meet the Academy's

graduate-credit eligibility requirements and as non-credit CPE course completion for qualified students who do not meet those requirements but are required to take CPE for employment.

Doctor of Ministry (DMin) in Pastoral Supervision, a professional doctoral program preparing experienced ministry leaders for advanced practice in pastoral supervision, education, leadership, coaching, and spiritual formation.

Through The Chaplains Academy, Christian Chaplains & Coaching provides non-credit continuing education and professional training. These

activities are distinct from the credit-bearing academic programs of The Chaplains Academy and are not academic credentials awarded by the Academy.
