Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Christ-centered higher education that equips Christian chaplains and ministry leaders for effective spiritual and pastoral care through Clinical Pastoral Education and the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Supervision, while also providing non-credit continuing education and certification training for Christian Chaplains & Coaching.
We offer non-credit bearing courses and certification programs to assist ministry professionals in their pastoral and spiritual care settings.
Non-Academic Certificate and Continuing Education
CERTIFICATION COURSES
CPE Supervisor Coach-Educator
Embedded in the coursework for our Doctorate in Ministry in Pastoral Supervision. Students who complete the four Master Christian Life Coach and Supervisory Education may apply to CCC for certification.
Certified Christian Life Coach
Four 12-week courses leading to certification as a Christian Life Coach.
40 Hours Each
Biblical Victim Care Ministry
A 12-week course in caring for people who are victims of abuse.
36 hours
Clinical Pastoral Education Individual Courses
For candidates who need professional Clinical Pastoral Education courses as a requirement for work, certification, or for personal development but do not need graduate level academic credit, these courses are available. Successful completion of each course will produce a certificate of completion for your personal or employment needs, but without graduate credit. Students may choose to take any number, always starting at the first CPE course.
These courses are sequential. All new students begin at CPE Course 1 and continue on to courses 2 through 4 as needed.

The Basics of Chaplaincy
An 8-week course to understand the basics of Christian Chaplaincy. Required for Chaplain or Pastor ordination and membership.

Christian Counseling for Grief
An 8-Week course for lay believers to provide excellent grief care. Required for Chaplain or Pastor ordination and membership.

Prison and Jail Ministry
An 8-week course to prepare students for jail and prison ministry. Required for those who wish to serve Kairos Prison Ministry as Clergy.

Refund Policy
Certification and Continuing Education Courses:
- 100% refund if withdrawal occurs before the course start date.
- No refund after the course has begun.
- Courses must be completed during the assigned term to pass.
All refund requests must be submitted in writing to the Registrar’s Office.
