Our Mission
Our mission is to provide Christ-centered higher education that equips Christian chaplains and ministry leaders for effective spiritual and pastoral care through Clinical Pastoral Education and the Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Supervision, while also providing non-credit continuing education and certification training for Christian Chaplains & Coaching.
We offer non-credit bearing courses and certification programs to assist ministry professionals in their pastoral and spiritual care settings.

Public Accountability
The Chaplains Academy is committed to transparency, accountability, and continuous institutional improvement. We regularly review student enrollment, retention, program completion, graduation, and other measures of student achievement to evaluate the effectiveness of our academic programs and support informed institutional planning.
This page provides current and historical student achievement information for the Academy's credit-bearing academic programs. Data is reviewed and updated annually as part of our institutional assessment process.
Student Enrollment
The following data represents the unduplicated number of students enrolled in one or more credit-bearing courses during each academic year. Each student is counted only once during the academic year, regardless of the number of courses in which the student was enrolled.
Beginning with the 2026-2027 academic year, qualified CPE students completing CPE without the award of graduate academic credit will be tracked separately and will not be included in credit-bearing enrollment figures.
Student Retention and
Program Completion
The Chaplains Academy is a developing institution and continues to collect and evaluate longitudinal student retention and program completion data. Additional student achievement data will be published as meaningful reporting periods are completed.
Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Supervision
The Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Supervision currently has three graduates and four actively enrolled students. To date, no DMin student has withdrawn from the program.
Current Retention Rate Percentage 100%
Clinical Pastoral Education
During the academic year ending August 31, 2026, 10 students completed the full four-course Clinical Pastoral Education program. Additional CPE students remain actively enrolled and are progressing through the four-course sequence. The Academy will continue to collect and publish CPE retention and program completion data as additional cohorts progress through the program.
